Himachal Pradesh Capital Shimla, tourist destination Kufri, Manali, And Picturesque Chopal, Kinnor, lahaul Spiti witnessed a fresh snowfall on Tuesday. some lower area also experienced mild snowfall, making the hill stations even more Attractive.
The higher reaches have experienced moderate to heavy snowfall, while lower hills were lashed with rain.
Likewise, upper areas of himachal pradesh chopal, kotkhai, rohru, Rajgarh, Rampur and kullu manali uphill Solang, Kalpa, 250 km from the state capital, saw fresh snow and turning them into white blankets.
Tourists and local residents in Shimla,were seen making merry by hurling snowballs at one another.
Hoteliers cheered in the hope that more tourists will come in large numbers in the coming days.
Shimla, which saw a low of minus 0.7 degree Celsius, recorded more than five cm of snowfall, while Kufri and Mashobra recorded more than 20 cm of snowfall each.
